8: 50 am: Pack attacks on at least 13 Indian Army posts

On Sunday Pakistani forces violated the ceasefire agreement in the area of Mendhar in Poonch district. Ten Indian Army posts, including those in Lango, forward Balakot and Dera Basi, came under fire at around 11: 30 am.

On the same day Pakistan attacked Degwar area in Poonch district, where three posts were sent to Indian army – Noorkot, Nakarkot, Mumtaz, and FSB jawan was wounded, told CNN-IBN. Read more here.

8: 30 am: BSF jawan injured in 5 Aug attack dies

BSF Jawan, injured in cross-border firing in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir August 5, succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.

Head Constable RAM Niwas Mina, who was treated at AIIMS, as he was injured along the LOC with Pakistan, died in 12:30 am due to multiple organ failure and excessive bleeding, doctors said. Read more here.
Less than a week after Pakistan Army specialist attacked India along the LOC in Poonch district of Jammu-Kashmir, Pakistan once again violated the ceasefire agreement and attacks on at least 13 Indian Army posts.
